EMDR trauma therapy in Pasadena, California
You don’t have to carry it all.
Therapy is a place to lay it down and heal.
Support for the tender, the tired, and those healing from the inside out.
Hi, I’m Megan Galloway
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Pasadena, CA
I provide support for women and mothers navigating trauma, infertility, life transitions, and the emotional journey of motherhood.
I identify as a highly sensitive person, a mother of two, and someone who has personally navigated both developmental trauma and secondary infertility, My work is deeply rooted in empathy, lived experience, and a belief in our capacity to heal. My personal healing journey through therapy, self-discovery, and deep inner work is what inspired me to help other women feel less alone, more understood, and truly supported through life’s hardest seasons.
Whether you’re a new mom, hoping to become one, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself amidst life’s demands, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to process your experiences and begin healing.
I offer therapy to women throughout Los Angeles and Pasadena and provide online therapy across California, so you can access care from wherever you are.
My Approach
My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, trusting relationships.
I see you as a whole person, mind, body, and spirit, and honor the ways your past shapes your present experience. I combine EMDR and IFS-informed work to support healing on both an emotional and nervous system level. I conceptualize challenges through the lens of early attachments, helping to uncover how early relationships influence your current patterns and emotional experiences. Whether we’re gently working through trauma, exploring your inner parts, or addressing relational patterns, our work moves at a pace that feels right for you.
Therapy is a collaboration, and I will meet you where you are and what you need. Some days might be about deep processing; other days, it’s simply about creating space to breathe and reconnect with yourself. Through it all, I’m here as a steady, compassionate presence, curious, grounded, and dedicated to helping you find clarity and self-trust.
As your therapist, I will:
Listen without judgment and create a space where you can be your true self
Encourage both laughter and tears—because healing is messy, real, and human
Honor who you are, your identity, your experiences, and the unique way you experience the world
Not just engage in talk therapy - therapy can feel meditative and grounding with the integration of somatic work, resourcing, and parts work
Help you cultivate deep, inside-out healing - we will build coping skills, but our work together will go deeper and get to the root.
Get curious about your story so that we can uncover what’s underneath and create real, lasting change.
My Values
Empathy
Empathy is at the heart of my practice. I deeply listen to your experiences without judgment, creating a space where you can express yourself freely. I believe that true healing begins when you feel truly seen and understood
Collaboration
I see therapy as a partnership where you are the expert of your own life, and I bring my expertise to guide you. Together, we'll set goals, explore your challenges, and discover the solutions that work best for you.
Inclusivity
I believe in creating a therapy space that is inclusive and accepting of all people, no matter their background, identity, or life experiences.
Cultural Sensitivity
Each persons experiences are shaped by their unique cultural, racial, and personal backgrounds. I understand that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process.
